The Fire got Close!! Now it's time to FISH!!

Late August and into September were really stressful for us as the Caldor Fire forced us to evacuate our home in South Lake Tahoe. In fact, I was pretty sure we were going to lose it but the firefighters and first responders did an amazing job saving our town!

Lake Tahoe fishing is great right now! The rainbows, kokes and macks are up shallow and t he bite has been the best of the year!

Also, PYRAMID LAKE opens back up to fishing on Oct. 1 and I have been awarded one of the only 7 guide boat permits for this season! Can’t wait to get back out there and chase some monster cutthroat around!
